FCA Endurance Now Registered with USA Cycling
Thanks to the great work of Boise Huddle Leaders Mike Harvey and Chris Berry (pictured left), FCA Endurance is now a USA Cycling Sponsored Club. As such, our Teammates can now register or renew their license with USA Cycling as official members of our Team. This coming year, they can also proudly race for Christ under our name, wearing our jersey in USA Cycling santioned races, road and mountain.
Becoming a recognized club within USA Cycling is something that we have wanted to do for some time, but the requirement for each club to host or sponsor a race has been holding us back. The Boise Huddle has cleared this hurdle by hosting FCA Endurance's first cycling race, a time trial on April 23. They also hosted 3 crits in June and July!
For those who have a license within USA Cycling, our number is 11859 and reads as "FCA Endurance". As our Teammates register or renew for 2008 and sign-up to race, we welcome you to "represent" by signing up under our Team/club. Also, as a side note, when you log on to get race results, you would need to look under our club on their site.
I'm excited about FCA Endurance hosting its first bike race, becoming an official club, the ability of our Team to boldly participate within cycling, and how our presence and impact within cycling will increase this summer. Please join me in praying for our impact within cycling this coming season!
Lastly, I would like to thank Brian Frank and Hammer Nutrition for letting us race under their name in our jerseys last season. Allowing us to boldly race for Christ under their banner was just one more example of their commitment to our Team and endurance ministry. Thank you Hammer!
